Jeffrey L. Swope
Over the last 30 years, Jeff Swope has been responsible for various aspects of the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and asset management of over 50 million square feet of office and industrial space with an aggregate value exceeding $3.0 billion. Prior to founding Champion in 1991, Mr. Swope was a Senior Partner with Centre Development. He started his real estate career with the Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Swope is a Trustee for the Urban Land Institute, a Trustee of the University of Texas Business School Foundation, and the Founding Chairman of The Real Estate Council of Dallas. Mr. Swope earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
Stephen M. Modory
Steve Modory joined the Champion organization in 1993 and has been responsible for managing various commercial real estate investment, finance and ongoing debt and equity capital activities. Prior to joining Champion, Mr. Modory was a portfolio manager for Trammell Crow Ventures. Since then, he has been involved with more than 35 million square feet of real estate properties, the aggregate value of which exceeds $3.0 billion. Mr. Modory is a past Chair of the Office Development Council of the Urban Land Institute, and Board Member of The Real Estate Council Foundation of Dallas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with distinction from Stanford University.
